The Popsie Fish Company was formed in 1987 as a family operation and has held true to the vision of providing sustainably caught, wild Alaskan salmon and seafood ever since! The Popsie team operates set net sites from the pristine waters of Bristol Bay for Alaska’s renowned Sockeye Salmon. Unlike other commercial fishing techniques, set netting requires fishermen to handpick every salmon. This means that the salmon you’re purchasing has been ethically sourced and personally harvested by The Popsie team directly. In addition to Alaska Sockeye Salmon, The Popsie Fish Company has partnered with local fisherman to provide access to other species Alaska has to offer. This gives you a variety of sustainable options for adding species such as halibut, cod, and sable fish to each order!
